Manufacturer Aims to Support National and Regional Key Accounts with Promotion and Hires

Alto-Shaam announced several new appointments to support its national and regional accounts.

The FEDA manufacturer member promoted Ben Leingang to director of national accounts. He will be responsible for continuing to develop and grow relationships with key domestic accounts to ensure that year-over-year growth targets are achieved. Leingang joined Alto-Shaam in 2019 as a corporate executive chef before being promoted to associate director of national accounts in 2021, with a key focus on growing accounts within the convenience store and supermarket segments.

“Since joining the business in 2019, Ben has excelled, consistently demonstrating his passion for supporting our customers and helping them to succeed and achieve their goals,” said Brian Newland, Alto-Shaam’s senior vice president of national accounts.

Joe Arvin was appointed to director of business and culinary development, national accounts. Arvin will be primarily focused on the development and generation of new national and regional customers, and forging relationships to help the business achieve its new business targets. He previously spent five years as a global corporate chef and national account manager at Antunes, a cooking equipment and water products manufacturer based in Illinois. Some may also recognize Arvin from his appearance on the CBS series Big Brother in 2012 and culinary television shows such as Cutthroat Kitchen.

“Joe is well known for his abilities as a chef and has been recognized for his flair and classic style of cooking,” Newland said. “And throughout his career, he has also proven his ability to build strong and lasting customer relationships, culminating in him consistently meeting new business sales targets and objectives.”

Finally, Alto-Shaam named Kyle Coleman as the manufacturer’s new manager of regional key accounts for the Western United States. He will work to support the company’s regional key customers, establishing and managing sales relationships with the sales and product development teams and external manufacturer representatives. Coleman previously worked as a trained culinary professional and was a product specialist for a grilling solutions manufacturer.

“Kyle comes with the perfect blend of experience of culinary and product management, making him a valuable asset to the team,” said Bill Rodgers, director of regional key accounts. “We are confident of the support Kyle will provide to the team to help it further strengthen our relationships and our commitment to providing the highest quality products and services. I am looking forward to combining forces with Kyle and seeing him develop within the team and throughout the business.”
