Alto-Shaam, a global manufacturer of foodservice equipment, has appointed Hugo Hernandez Ponce as a chef for Alto-Shaam Latin America and Caribbean.
Ponce previously worked as a corporate chef at a financial technology company in Mexico. He plans to use his industry and hospitality experience “to demonstrate the benefits for customers from using Alto-Shaam’s genuinely world-class range of kitchen equipment solutions.” In his new role, Ponce will provide customer support and product training throughout the region and highlight Alto-Shaam’s equipment solutions’ capabilities from award winning products Combitherm, Vector Multi-Cook Ovens, and QuickChillers, among others.
Ponce also plans to use his hospitality skills overseeing the culinary kitchen, including A Taste of Alto-Shaam live events, assisting customers to create menus, and supporting the business at seminars and tradeshows.
