FEDA is excited to welcome Jason Cochran, vice president of operations of operations services at Chipotle Mexican Grill, as a highlighted speaker at the FEDA Annual Conference in San Diego on Thursday, March 26. He will join National Restaurant Association Senior Vice President of the Research and Knowledge Group Hudson Riehle in a discussion moderated by FE&S magazine's Joe Carbonara. A proven leader with more than 25 years of experience in retail and innovation, Cochran brings a track record of implementing change and fostering growth to Chipotle.
Cochran received his MBA from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas. He was selected as an SMU’s “Best and Brightest” as well as honored as a Distinguished Business Leader by the SMU Cox School of Business Leadership Center. Prior to joining Chipotle, Cochran served as the senior vice president of U.S. stores at GameStop, Inc. During his 15-year tenure, he initiated four product innovations which amounted to $50 million of annual EBIT and implemented a nationwide HRIS system for more than 30,000 employees.
Cochran joined Chipotle in October of 2018 and leads a team of support service staff while working to simplify operational systems and fundamental processes to enable restaurants to deliver leading food safety. Cochran ensures these new programs are seamlessly produced and implemented.
