Kessenich Names New Executive Vice President
Kessenich Ltd. last week announced the hiring of Larry Turner as the Wisconsin-based company’s new executive vice president. The appointment is part of Great Lakes West’s, Kessenich’s parent company, commitment to bring strong leadership to the 90-year-old foodservice equipment distributor.
Before joining Kessenich, Turner was vice president of manufacturing, plant manager, and plant engineer at Grande Cheese Co. “As a Wisconsin native, I look forward to the challenge of applying my manufacturing expertise to a different type of industry in Madison,” he said.
The leadership change coincides with several recent investments at Kessenich’s Madison, Wis., headquarters. In March, the company moved into a new 28,000-square-foot facility that features a 10,000-square-foot retail showroom, a demo kitchen, and increased warehouse space.
Grindmaster-Cecilware Promotes Kenny Stratton
Also last week, Kentucky-based beverage and cooking equipment manufacturer Grindmaster-Cecilware promoted Kenny Stratton to vice president of national accounts. Stratton previously served as the company’s national account director. Before coming to Grindmaster-Cecilware in 2013, he was the director of sales and marketing at AutumnGrove Cottages and the director of business development at foodservice equipment manufacturer Franke.
