Consistent Portion Control

Zeroll’s popular EZ Dishers are ergonomically designed to reduce strain and fatigue on back-of-the-house staff.

Zeroll — EZ Dishers
Portion control has long been one of the primary ways for foodservice operators to maintain consistency in their product offerings while reducing waste and controlling food costs. With its full line of EZ Dishers that originally debuted in 1989 and have remained popular ever since, Zeroll has provided a reliable way to consistently scoop precise measurements of mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, yogurt, cookie dough, and other soft foods. “The EZ Disher comes in 26 different sizes,” says Alexia Rouquette, vice president of marketing with The Legacy Companies, whose brands include Zeroll. Those options include 13 different bowl sizes ranging from 0.32 ounces to 4.66 ounces, each with a standard handle and extended handle length option to choose from. For added convenience, each size has a color-coded handle so kitchen staff can easily identify the scoop size at a glance.

What Salespeople Need to Know
“The EZ Disher is ergonomically designed to reduce repetitive-use fatigue,” says Rouquette, noting that its ambidextrous design can be comfortably used by right or left-handed users. She adds that a new even lighter-weight design makes it easy to use across long periods, while the handle’s plastic gear promotes smooth operation.

Engineered with reliability and sanitation in mind, each EZ Disher boasts a durable stainless steel bowl that helps make it both NSF approved and dishwasher safe. The simple one-piece design means that there are no springs to replace as is necessary with many other dishers. A time-tested tool across more than three decades of service, the Zeroll EZ Disher is a great addition to restaurants, cafeterias, bakeries, and virtually any other operation that places a premium on portion control.
