Two FEDA members have been named among the best American companies to work for by USA Today’s Top Workplaces USA awards.
Alto-Shaam, an equipment manufacturer based in Wisconsin, and Parts Town, an Illinois-based distributor of original equipment manufacturer parts, were among the 1,531 employers recognized by the national publication. Winners are identified solely based on employee feedback gathered through an employee engagement survey that was distributed throughout 2023. Only businesses with more than 150 employees were eligible.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, CEO of Energage, the third-party employee surveyor of the awards program. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
This was the first year Alto-Shaam was recognized by the Top Workplaces USA awards. Parts Town has previously earned the honor in 2022 and 2023.
