Eight FEDA Manufacturer Members Earn Energy Star Honors

As part of its effort to promote sustainability, Energy Star has recognized eight FEDA manufacturer member companies with Energy Star Partner of the Year Awards.

The honor is the highest level of recognition from the Environmental Protection Agency, which runs the Energy Star Program. Companies that win the award are those that demonstrate best practices across their organization, prove organization-wide energy savings and actively communicate the benefits of Energy Star. Companies that earn the Partner of the Year Award for several consecutive years may also be presented with a Sustained Excellence Award.

The FEDA manufacturer members honored with a Sustained Excellence Award are:

  • Copeland
  • Hoshizaki America
  • ITW Food Equipment Group
  • Manitowoc Ice

The FEDA manufacturer members honored with a Partner of the Year Award are:

  • Continental Refrigerator
  • Jackson Warewashing Systems
  • RATIONAL USA
  • Welbilt

“We are immensely proud to be acknowledged once again by Energy Star for our dedication to environmental stewardship,” stated Allan Dziwoki, president of Hoshizaki America. “As we celebrate this milestone, we remain steadfast in our mission to innovate and lead towards a more sustainable future.”

ITW noted that this was the 15th straight year it was recognized with an Energy Star Award. “We're proud to be the first commercial foodservice equipment manufacturer to receive the Sustained Excellence award, and believe this clearly demonstrates our ongoing commitment to developing new products and technologies that help our customers save money and protect the environment,” the company said.
