T&S Brass and Bronze Works, a FEDA manufacturer member specializing in foodservice and commercial plumbing products, announced two promotions and a new hire.

Shane Dans joined the company as its new national retail accounts manager. Dans previously served as the vice president of food retail at Middleby, where he called on supermarkets, grocery and associated supporting accounts. In his new position at T&S, Dans will leverage his relationship with those segments to create opportunities for increased sales and new products specific to the growing food retail industry.

“We are happy to welcome Shane to our team,” Director of Sales Mike Orlando said. “His proven track record of delivering tailored solutions and deep-rooted connections within the industry make him an invaluable addition to our organization.”

Meanwhile, John Hughes was promoted to business intelligence platform manager. Hughes will now oversee the maintenance and further development of the company’s business intelligence utility, which aims to provide invaluable insights across various facets of the organization. Hughes manages front-end interface reporting and development, as well as the intricacies of the backend infrastructure, including overseeing data readers, procedures, relationships, data modeling and other critical aspects essential for the smooth functioning of the business intelligence platform.

Hughes joined T&S 11 years ago as an analyst in the accounting and finance department. He most recently served as the business analytics manager, a role that had him leveraging data-driven insights to enhance decision-making processes within the company.

“John’s promotion is a testament to his dedication, expertise and invaluable contributions to T&S over the years,” said Ian Bradley, vice president of finance. “We have full confidence in his ability to lead our business intelligence efforts and drive continued success for the organization.”

Finally, T&S promoted Sarah Scott to the role of business analytics manager. She will now serve as the main contact for product data exchange with customers and external stakeholders. As part of her responsibilities, Scott will spearhead initiatives to produce data-driven insights aimed at optimizing sales performance across various channels and will oversee critical ERP processes and utilities.

Scott joined T&S six years ago as a data collection analyst. Her proficiency in data analytics and dedication to ensuring the highest standards of service have been instrumental in enhancing operations, the company said.

“Sarah’s depth of expertise in data analytics and her dedication to driving business success make her the perfect fit for this role,” said Ken Gallagher, global vice president of sales and marketing. “We are confident under her leadership, our analytics capabilities will continue to evolve, enabling us to better serve our customers and achieve our strategic objectives.”
